Natalie: Maternity

Ellen and I do maternity a little different. Not much, just a little. We like to think more along the lines of a portrait session and you happen to be pregnant. It’s just our personal preference. (The naked/semi naked maternity shoots just aren’t our bag…I also think of the horror of a grown child seeing their half naked mother’s maternity shoot. Not that there aren’t some INCREDIBLY talented photographers that do that style–and do it tastefully well. It’s just not our bag.)

Natalie is carrying the grandchild of our newfound-lifelong-wether-they-like-it-or-not friends MV and David. MV decided that her baby shower gift was going to be the gift of photography–a maternity session with Randy Olive Photography. We were very thankful: what a perfect gift.

Natalie is absolutely gorgeous: stunning. It was fun for Ellen and I to be a part of capturing these memories because Natalie and Zach were¬†hilarious¬†together. The session was set at MV and David’s house; it was an awesome location. The house is wonderful, but it also has a great family feel to it. It sort of foreshadows what is to come with this new family being surrounded with the love and support form Zach’s upbringing. I can only image the spoiling that is to come.

The two of them seemed to really love just being around each other. A few times they checked out for a bit just to enjoy the moment together–which creates great opportunities for Ellen and I to capture some sweet memories. Best wishes to the both of you. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse into your life. Hopefully we can meet your little man soon!
