Finch Wedding Preview.

Here is a sweet tasty morsel to whet your appetite for a new Randy Olive Photography photo blog. This is truly just a tiny cross section. And to be honest: a pretty awesome one.:)

I’ll keep this post a little short and sweet and open up their full story to you in the next post. All I have to say is: 1. it’s hard to take a bad picture of amazing people 2. it’s hard to take a bad picture of beautiful venues and 3. it’s impossible to take a bad picture of amazing people at beautiful venues. For this particular wedding–see #3. Ellen and I had a wonderful time shooting this wedding. Lauren and Cody gave us a great opportunity to shoot at the Chapel in the Wood for the first time, for which we are very grateful. It is a wonderful location out in The Woodlands, TX. Cody and Lauren were so relaxed that day and just ready to start the rest of their lives together. They enjoyed every little moment that ticked by. And my favorite part of the night was when Cody finished his thanks to the guests at the reception–because he finished with the words “Let’s dance!” and┬áliterally┬áthe dance floor was packed to capacity within seconds. I have never, in all the weddings we have shot, seen that quick of a reaction to the dance floor. Enjoy these little samples as I work on their gallery.

That photo with she, and I’m assuming her mother, praying is simply precious!

The picture of Dana and Lauren demonstrates the spirit of this union. Both women are women of our Lord who seek His will in their lives.

Love you my daughter and new granddaughter.

All the pictures are incredible and a beautiful wedding. I can only imagine the prayer that Dana was sending to the Father for Cody and Lauren, a truly special and precious moment. Blessings to all the family. Love you all!
