LeBlanc: The Portraits

Okay…for our followers out there in the world: I appologize. I had one of our fans “scold” me for not putting up new work. We have been in a really busy season in the Olive Home, but no excuses! Ellen and I had an incredible Late Spring-Early Summer wedding season. We got to travel to Cancun for our first destination wedding, to Round Top, Texas for one of the most unique wedding venues, back to the stone chapel for the LeBlanc wedding, and then to The Woodlands, Texas to shoot a wedding at FOTW’s Chapel in the Woods. All-in-all: an amazing photography sprint. Now that the peak of summer is upon us, we can finally slow down just a bit to get back to posting blogs. This blog will focus on ┬áthe LeBlanc portraits.

I was trying to figure out how I wanted to blog this particular wedding. Generally I have a pattern for posting, but I wanted to change it up. This one, I decided, would focus on the portraits of the bride, groom, and wedding party. Ellen and I had a blast with the group. Ellen and I have always admired this family. I met Leanne when she was about 16 years old. Leanne has already twice survived cancer and through her most recent battle–a man amongst men stood with her the whole way–Eric LeBlanc. Eric definitely married up, but he sure holds his own. Eric is a gentleman who will champion his wife forever. It was awesome to watch the two of them through out the whole night. Every time they held hands or kissed it was like they fell in love all over again.

We were excited to be back at the lovely Stone Chapel to shoot the LeBlanc wedding. We knew that it would be the perfect place for Leanne. The setting was exactly where I would picture this princess exchanging her vows. Leanne was (as you can see) absolutely stunning in her gown. Thank you again to Leanne, Eric, and both families for allowing us to be part of such a special day!
