Sarah and Tyler

“Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.” (Proverbs 18:24) Which theoretically means that this shoot is of our “sister” Sarah and her fiance Tyler. We have known Sarah for a long time. Before I even got the chance to meet Sarah, she had already given me the nick name: Oli. Ellen’s family has known Sarah’s family since before Ellen was even born!  We also had the privilege of working for Sarah’s parents, Mark and Laura, who are amazing people. Ellen and I have a special place in our hearts carved out for this family.

Sarah is the type of gal everyone hopes their son will bring home. And Tyler is quite the gentleman himself. They have such a great laid back sense of life. We had a blast shooting this session – even with the day starting with a bit of worry. We were driving straight into gray skies. We had faith though.  First of all, if it hadn’t started raining yet, the overcast would be perfect for the shoot. Secondly, if it did start raining, then coffee and chatter would be in order while the storm passed. Perfect either way! Well we arrived to the location with a bit of drizzle, (Why does Snoop Dogg carry an umbrella? Fo Drizzle.) but it was not enough to put a damper of our day. Tyler and Sarah are so much fun, so relaxed, and so genuine that the shoot went absolutely seamlessly.

Ellen and I also have the privilege of shooting Tyler and Sarah’s wedding next summer. We shall keep you posted on the event, but until then, enjoy these little morsels of goodness.

Mr. Olive ~ you are one of the most talented photographers I’ve ever seen. Every shot of these two is awesome. Of course when you have amazing subjects you turn out with amazing photos. I’m only slightly prejudice, being Tyler’s mom and all. Thank you so much for helping them in such a generous way with their wedding and engagement photos.
