Final Loo(KEY)

Shame on me (I know) for not posting this earlier. We are finally through the holidays and gearing up for what are going to be some amazing weddings with some incredibly amazing clients. With that being said I do believe it is fitting to start the 2012 posts off with the finale of 2011.

Ellen and I again were so blessed to get the chance to hang out with this family for the beautiful union of Larry and Jennifer. Jennifer was an old friend of Ellen’s from way back in the awkward years of middle school. Their reacquainting was a bit serendipitous. Ellen works with an incredible company (selfless plug: helping them with PR and social networking. Jennifer’s mother happens to work with the same company. So only a few short months before Larry and Jennifer were to get married, Ellen realized the “small world” connections she had with Jennifer. And shortly thereafter: we are on board to capture this fantastic event.

Jennifer and Larry have actually became another client-turned-friend. We are so happy to have them as friends–they are quite the catch. But back to the wedding day itself. Jennifer was simply stunning in a dress custom made for her petite frame. (And the seamstress was none other than her own mother!) And Larry was suited with more than just slick threads: he was wearing a smile that bred the excitement of the day. He was truly enthralled by the perspective of seeing his sweet bride appear on that sacred aisle. The highlight of the night, however, tips completely in the direction of Jennifer. She surprised the crowd and her forever groom by singing “When You Say Nothing at All” to Larry and Larry alone while teary-eyed ladies watched with pitter-pattery hearts. (The men watched too, but I’m sure most of them just thought: “that’s pretty cool”). Kuddos to House Plantation (and Connie) for having such a priceless venue and spectacular event staff.

Larry, Jennifer, and family–thank you so much for the gift of being able to capture your special day…enjoy:
